First aid and security course UK
 

I will be presenting at this year's Horizons Unlimited UK event in June this year, and then, later on in summer, at the Overland Event.
I am working with some of the best medical and security instructors in the UK to develop a course which would provide overland travellers with first aid and safety training. My BBC friends will probably recognize the course as a refocused HEFAT. For everybody else - it's a few days of intense and fun practical lessons about what to do when the proverbial hits the fan.
We are planning a trial run of the course on February 20th, in Tunbridge Wells.
I need 12 people to be guinea pigs - to help me figure out what worked and what didn't etc.

Hi - yes, quite a few....

I'm unable to make the trial & I'm not on that Facebook thing to spread the word but where is the event 'likely' to be located?*

I'm currently researching on this subject matter via YouTube videos st the moment but certainly interested in how this progresses.

*(I'm aware that info is tbc)

Unfortunately I am unable to attend the trial course however myself and my partner would be VERY interested in attending the course in the future and we will also be at HUBB UK in June 2016.

This course was excellent - good content delivered by a highly experienced and really down to earth team. if you get the chance to do it grab it with both hands.

Is this course still running, or was this just a one off?

Hi there

It was a trial (which went well!) - unfortunately, we as the course team decided that we could not continue with it, for all sorts of reasons.

Perhaps I'll revisit the idea at some later stage. But for now, I'm afraid, there are no courses.
