Buying a bike in Florida and riding through South America
 

Hi all,
I am new to site and realise this may have already been asked, but would like some guidance on my specific trip:
I am greek and would like to :
1) either buy a second hand adventure bike in Florida and ship it by RORO (SC line service) to Cartagena, and ship it back for sale in Florida when done with the trip....OR
2) buy a second hand used bike in Colombia and resell it when done in Colombia.

Ideally I would like to start my trip in Colombia...

This is for early FEB 2016...

can anyone advise or recommend better solutions/experiences?

or does anyone have a good bike for sell in either Florida or Colombia?

Motolombia in Cali still do a sell and buy back. We had very good service from Mike and his crew in 2010. His Facebook has bikes for sale. We rode Colombia for a month on our own bikes, then Mike helped fly them to Florida. Great rides and accomodation. Enjoy.
