That's a good approach but I like to explore and tend to scribble details in a notebook before departure (leaving enough time to lose it) and come accross whatever's there. I feel freed up when I don't have advice or guidance and need to look harder at the everyday goings-on, which I personally prefer. Best wishes on your next trip. Linzi.

Talking of 'scribbling' I didn't mention that I will quite often make a word document & cut & paste things from here, other forums & 'stuff' I've found on web searches, making my own document of 'helpful & interesting' things ... which are then often added to when there!
