Cheap camping for trucks in Ulaanbaatar
 

Hi I hope this is useful to anybody in a camper or truck arriving in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia, We are at the moment parked on a run down but still open hotel car park the hotel is called The Tokyo Hotel and is on the right hand side of the road when approaching the city centre from the North (Russian Border side) and is opposite the Dragon Shopping Centre and bus station, I think we are the first to use it. They are charging us 5,000 a day which works out at about £1.60p (Les than €2) and they have allowed us to connect to there electricity supply free, I don't say that will be the norm. All I did was to go into the reception and ask if I could park up for a few nights and that was that.
It is convenient for transport in to the city.
