Yamaha xt 600 headlight protector with a useful rack
I've got one or two of the Yamaha xt headlight protectors with a useful rack for carrying a small tent or something like that, I also put two mounts on the front to take two spotlights, it will come black powder coated but you can have it in another colour at extra cost, they will look like this one below but with extra mounts for spots, soon as I get one back from powder coaters I'll post pictures,
Cost will be £80 + pp Payment will be though PayPal I wanted a rack but they are like rockie horse s--t so I had a few made as it wasn't worth just making one, I'll sell them to try recover some of the money I've paid out, so first come first served before I post on eBay to sell them. Pm with your interest, I'm happy to do PayPal to protect yourself with the purchase. http://i1302.photobucket.com/albums/...psyh270lll.png |

Three colours to choose from for these overland racks
Very limited number on the red and white, £80 + £5 p&p |
I got two of these in black. One for my bike and one for my wifes'. I haven't had time to fit them yet but they're not too heavy; the welding looks very good and the powder coating feels quality. Very pleasant guy to deal with.
I can strongly recommend these and Lowrider.:thumbup1: |
wau
Hi there,
wau, they look good and solid. Would love to have one for my 1VJ Tenere, but I cant afford it at the moment. For maybe a year I try to find one on the internet, and only found one ... old and bent for 100 Euros ... so they are rare. Maybe one day ... Thank you lowrider for posting it here, but its not the right time for me. Greetings from Chile mika |
They look fantastic !!!!
And finally a realistic price for Overland parts. I want one on my TT600RE |
Thanks guys for your kind comments
I used a guy I've known for a few years to make them and his welding is really good, the tubing is nice and light with the strong weld they are really light and strong,,, I've been doing builds on bike for a good few years now for myself and one or two m8s I've used the same powder coater for about five years he's really good. I've sold five this weekend some on eBay some on Tenere forum and two on here, the red ones are gone, I can't guarantee I've I've any left for next month never mind next year, I've still got the template so if I get any orders when they are all sold I would consider making another batch Thanks |
I fitted one on my tenere I'm building up

No m8 you will need to cut the two bottom legs off and have them welded back on further down the tube,
