Hello HUBB

I have tried to buy a fuel tank and got contacted by

jaydeencox

Who only tried to talk me into sending him money via several unsafe apps.

I found a multitude of websites explaining the same happening.

Don't reply to his messages, it's a waste of time.

Sadly I can confirm the same experience.

jaydeencox is a scammer.

I reported to Grant right away.

He sent me a US driver's license. Potentially fake.
Anyone here able to check him out and report to the police?

I can't find the person on the database, it could be that Grant has already removed him.

I just Googled his username & he scamming loads of forums, some forums have twigged on & deleted him but he`s active right now as i type on another.

He'd sent me a PM saying he had a set of the tanks I'm looking for, but can only provide two tiny old photos that look oddly familiar from an ad I've seen a year or two ago.
And somehow isn't able to provide new photos in the age of smartphones.

I can provide the email adress and other suspected alias' to the mods, if that is of any use.

I've deleted his most recent post and banned his username--again, I assume. It didn't go the way it usually does, so maybe this is just a minor wrinkle in the space/time continuum...or something.

TobyG, I'd say send the email address to Grant in case it's useful. If you somehow have an IP address as well, that would likely be even better.

Sorry for the issue folks, he registered via Tapatalk, which is problematic for us. LOTS of people use it so we can't just dump it. However his account is definitely now nuked - BUT he can come back via Tapatalk again, no way to stop him. grrrr.
