For Sale: Chris Scott's Aerostitch Darien Jacket, UK
 

This is the custom made jacket as worn by Chris (check with him on the HUBB to verify) on the Desert Riders DVD, purchased last year at the Ted Simon Foundation Launch auction.

Also worn by my on the Toddington 2 Timbuktu trip last year.

It is a custom made version of Aerostitch's classic Darien Jacket in sand, size large.....would fit someone about 180-185cm of average to large build.

It is made from Gortex with loads of pockets and features. A fantastic touring jacket, with back and under arm vents it is cool in hot conditions, but has the facility to zip in a liner (not included), and spacious enough to wear several layers underneath. As it is Gortex it is completely waterproof. It has a full set of Aerostitch protective pads (elbow, shoulder and back) which are removable. See the Aerostitch website for details here

The lining shows a few slight signs of wear but apart from that is in good condition. It has been washed and reproofed with Nixwak gortex wash/proofer.
