Hi everyone,

I had a batch of pannier loops made by a local engineering company (as I wasn´t prepared to pay Touratechs prices - £32.58 each plus shipping!) and have a couple of pairs left over.

These pannier loops are made from 19mm diameter steel tube with a 2mm wall thickness. The overall size is 350mm x 245mm (the same as those sold by Touratech), and are supplied unfinished, ready for you to attach your own fittings/fixings. There is a slight reduction in diameter of the tube around the bends due to them being hydraulically bent rather than madrel bent. This can be seen in the photo, and doesn´t affect the strength or durability of the loops.
