I am from the New South Wales north coast, 2460,Australia. I look like getting a 2004 XL650V Transalp. I am interested in your fuel tank if it is still available. I believe it holds about 25litres, is that right? Africa Twins aren't available in Australia, so I rely on the net for info! Do you know if it will fit ? If so, are you willing to post to Australia. I will pay the postage. Thanks. |

It is called 25lts but the actual capacisty is 23.5l (dont know why). If it will fit or not i dont know. Sorry. I know the older rd04 ones will fit but they are very differnt to the rd07a tanks.. I am happy to ship it to you. it would be expecive though as it takes up alot of space and weights 9kg (packed). my suggestion to you is go to ADVRIDER.com and go in to the ?beasts? section and look for transalp conversions.. and see if it will fit.. But please hurry we leave the house in a week and it needs to go before then or it will be tippped. cheers Xander |
