World Trip Dilemma in Lithuania...
Hi guys, I am currently riding around the world with my friend Josh on 2 old Honda Transalp's. They have recently started to burn a lot of oil and so we have bought new piston rings & valve stem seals which we are looking to replace on Lithuania, Latvia or Estonia before riding through Russia to Vladivostok. We have all of the tools and experience to do the job except a torque wrench and a dry place to work. Would anyone be able to help point us to somewhere we could work on the bikes? We are currently near Vilnius.
Thanks Luke |
I've got a torque wrench you can borrow in Tallinn, though I think they're cheap enough from any big construction or automotive store these days.
Google "motorcycle shop Vilnius" - there are a bunch, including some custom builders. Chances are they'd let you crash in a spare repair bay. In Riga, try these guys: http://2w.lv/ |
All sorted now cheers, managed to find a place in Riga to do the work!
