Ok guys, fair enough - I should have expressed myself better. :cool4:

I have nothing against beards and have worn one off and on for most of my adult life - probably 15 years in total with a beard. What I'm talking about is that "semi-shaved" look, where you have a day or two of stubble. Nothing looks worse than stubble, it just looks lazy - sorry Colebatch. :innocent:

Having said that I did go for a 500km ride yesterday, without having shaved. There was a reason though, I cut myself on Saturday and wanted to give the face a rest to heal.

We have a rule that we can't cut any hair during our trip. Not sure why really, but we're all young and it just seems to add to the adventure. I guess we'll feel more in the spirit of adventure if we are all raggedy :)

Funny you should say that...

I don't like having stubbble but my gf goes crazy for it. She complains if if have anything less than 2-3 days of rough.

That's my excuse :D

Well it takes balls to ride 500 kms without shaving - I'll give you that.

The semi shaved look is the one favoured by the talentless George Michael, isnt it? So if that interests you, it's not a good sign...:innocent:

Dont lose any sleep or "toss" and turn at night. Your hormones will settle down and you'll be all right:smartass::smiliex:
