temporary motorcycle insurance
 

I am flying from the UK to Orlando in August this year and I will be arranging to ship my motorcycle to Orlando to use for a 9 week tour around the USA. I have emailed Fernet insurance to make sure they are still doing the temporary motorcycle insurance. Fernet said they don't have anything in place at the moment, but are hoping to have something in place within the next month. Last year I toured Florida and I took out a full years insurance with Progressive, through Fernet, when I returned home I cancelled the insurance and i was refunded the unused amount. Taking out the insurance this way i had to give them a US address but i could only give them a hotel address and this seemed to be ok.
I was wondering if anyone has recently taken out temporary insurance with another company or if anyone knows of a company that do it.
Is there anyone who lives in the USA who would allow me to use their address to put on the insurance if i have to use Progressive.
