So much theft in the UK.

Seems like many bikes dissapear there also.

There is a problem in some of the big cities, particularly London. Outside of the big cities there is no more problem than anywhere else in the world. Just take the same precautions as you would in any city, try and leave the bike in a locked garage or compound overnight, don't leave valuables on the bike, and if you have a chain and cover use them.
