Sad news from Montana
 

A lady cyclist has been attacked and killed by a bear whilst camping in Montana:

This is sad to hear but if it`s true behavior I am wondering about this:

"Ms Lokan and her two companions, who were staying in a separate tent, then removed food from their tents and secured them before going back to sleep. But the bear returned shortly afterwards, leading to the fatal attack"

A ranger adviced me once:
Never eat or hold food in your tent. Eat far away from the place where you sleep. Secure your dishes, pots and pans together with the food. Check your clothing pockets for sweets. Don`t use parfums. A bear will sniff this smells over a very long distance.
