Overland cyclists
 

I have met quite a few overland cyclist now, all great guys, am I really admire and respect their trips (I have cycled across Europe myself). However I have come to find that there is always a slightly unnerving glimmer in their eyes, something like a mad man. When ever I mention Eithopia to someone who has cycled throught there they are never uncompromising in their experences in that country. The longer that they have been traveling the more I notice this!
This is by no means a critism, all I have met I got along great with and have really enjoyed hearing their adventures. I was just wondering if other people have also noticed this trait?
