New tires for my trip to Italy
A few weeks ago, I filled in a form to test new Continental tires. After a few days, I got an email from Chris van Paassen, Product Manager/Inside Sales at Continental Banden Groep B.V. with the message;
"Van harte gefeliciteerd! Jij bent geselecteerd als testrijder voor de nieuwe motorbandenactie van Continental.", that means that I get a free set of Conti tires for my BMW to do my trip to Italy.:thumbup1: Yesterday I went to Motorservice Ossendrecht to get the new tires mounted and some time and a cup of coffee later, I rode home on two brand new ContiTrailAttack 2 tires. Me (with the hat) and John, the owner of the bikeshop after I got the new tires. In May, I will leave the Netherlands for a few weeks riding in Italy. Via Germany and Liechtenstein I want to ride to Venice, then to Pompeï and Rome and on my way back I want to visit Florence and Pisa before I leave Italy to visit a cousin in France. If anyone has some good advice about these places in Italy, please let me know. |
