Bar's Name

El Esco Bar I dare you!! Only joking! It's a hard one, best to be significant in Spanish and English. Can we have a rough idea of the site, ambience or whatever? Linzi.

Norton Rats

I always liked the Norton Rats name. You know the place in Cusco, but I don,t want to rip him off.
I,m thinking it has to be a little bit pub,a little bit bike and a little bit Colombia
eg "The Old Velocetts Arse Carajo!!!"
Lets try things along those lines

Spooner's Full Duck

PocketHead 21 Oct 2008 02:12

Hmm these names sound more like 1800s british pubs in my opinion but I'll give it another go.... how about

'The Angry Burro'.

Assuming that Albert has the same target audience for this bar as his bar in Quito, world travellers, how about "The 7 Seas".

Crutcher's Columbian Cantina Con Caro Cerveza y Chicas.

Ride safe.

albert crutcher 27 Oct 2008 21:21

There was a fledgling rock group back in the late sixties who were looking for a name , somebody [ and it might have been Clapton] told them that they sounded like shit and would go down like a lead zeppelin .The name stuck- despite the spelling mistake .

Whatever happened to them ?

albert crutcher 29 Oct 2008 22:37

I think they reformed for a few gigs a couple of years ago. One or two of the band take a big interest in "Le Festival au Sahara", which happens near Timbouktou each Jan/ Feb.

This would be a great bike destination.

Well here it is!

Well after not a lot of thought and a tight schedule I think I,m going to call it "SUPERMOTOS"
because I like MOTOS and I think they are SUPER.
And I also own two SUPERMOTOS Husky 610sm and a Husaberg fe501.
If you,ve got a better idea you,d best be quick.
