Its been a while....

7 years & 6 weeks since I was last here. What did I miss ?

Welcome back. Some of us—notably me—got abruptly older. That aside, a bunch of wars, coups, border skirmishes, contested elections, and a pandemic which at last report killed 6+million people. We’re you sleeping, dreaming of tenpin bowling?

Yep - dug to 10 metres & the neighbor who was 'helping' dropped a bucket of rocks on me, so more digging.

Built a wonky drill rig with hydraulics hooked up to the gearbox of a pickup, drilled to 14 metres & broke the machine.

Eventually got a proper drilling rig on site & found water at 78 metres - there's a youtube of that & some other stuff (https://youtube.com/@ChileBob)

Kinda glad I didn't keep on digging :rofl:
