Ferries Magadan to Japan or vladivostok
 

Does anyone know of a ferry from Magadan to Japan or Vlad.
looking at flying the bike out of Japan
Also would a carnet be required for moving the bike from the Ferry to the Airport?

There are no ferries from Magadan to anywhere.

There are occasional transport ships which will take your car / bike to Vladivostok, but you would need to speak Russian and inquire locally (or get someone to do it for you). I only know locals who have used it (I drove both ways). I don't think they take passengers.

Russia, like every country in the Former USSR, does not use the Carnet de Passage for private vehicles.
