Not sure if this is helpful (as based on the V4S - assume similar?) but, if a full bore adventure bike is your thing, Chris seems to rate it.

I know this guy as we ride the same long distance trials (we have VERY different ability levels) - he’s a great character who take his own GS12 everywhere (its what he rides the trials on). Accepting the gulf in ability levels and its impact on any recommendation, i’d absolutely trust his view - he knows what he’s talking about.

nice bike but is it reliable?

We sell them or would if we could get them. I'd personally have the V2 over the v4 , better on fuel , more sensible power , lower purchase costs . Wouldn't go off road with it personally but fire trails would b OK. As for reliability I think they are fine , most ducatis are.....my multi certain was .
