Rim size questions!?
 

Hi there, I am currently in colombia and have recently bought a 2014 tenere 250. A very nice bike that i got for a good price. After yesterdays ride however I finally noticed that the rim sizes are completely different from stock! A quick google search showed me that the stock rim sizes are 21 front 18 rear. I currently have 18 front and 17 rear.. sounds more supermoto to me.. :oops2:

I am planning on riding this bike down to chile/argentina and I am hoping to come across some dirt but will mainly be on the road. The bike now feels pretty unstable at low speeds, not sure if that is the tyre combination or something completely different.

I am wondering if anyone can help me and tell me if this rim size combination is any good or if I should replace it to the original style?

I know I should have looked before but it just never sprung in mind to check the rim sizes!

21/18 wheels will of course be much better than 18/17 (strange set-up btw) off pavement. If its worth the money and the hazzle to get it is a question only you can answer...
