I've often wondered myself about the very same product.

But I continue to use toothbrushes doubled up as a chain cleaning aid (old toothbrushes that is).

Did quite a bit of travveling but never brushed my chain. Guess thats why they invented the rain :rain:

I have one at home and I don't use it- the bristles are very stiff and hard, and I think they could do damage to the o-rings in your chain.

I use a small, one inch paintbrush ( cut the bristles down to give it a little stiffness) and a bit of WD 40 or kerosene to clean my chain- works easily. Then oil with the same brush and a little gear oil (available anywhere in the world.).

Motorcycle Chain Cleaner Brush, Ultra Lube, Bike Wash, Speed Wax, by Tirox Motorcycle Maintenance

my buddy really likes this system, much easier to use if you have a centre stand or a prop stand.

I use chainsaw oil to lube the chain very regularly and never need a brush to clean it. A simple rag does fine and makes it look all shiny and new again.

I had one of those when I had chain drive. It works. Cut the handle off, you can hold it easy enough without.
