Warped rear disc

So I am still in Amsterdam preping my bike for Eastern Europe. The bike now has 9500 miles on it and still had the original chain and sprocket. I am in the process of changing these. I am replacing them with "French" brand set that I purchased in Germany.

I am also replacing the rear brake disc. The original one is only slightly worn but is completely warped. IE at low speeds back bracking causes the bike to pulse or surge. So after removing the rear tyre today I discovered just how warped the disc was. It has warped in the middle sections between the four allen key points. I think the bolts are seized as they dont want to budge - will leave them over night for a bit of WD 40 treatment.

OK so has anyone come across this before with rear discs. What could have caused it - extreme heat or??. I am quite puzzled really. Still have not sorted the blinker situation - but will get around to it later in the week when I fit the new Hepco Becker luggage rack.

One other question - I want to re-grease the rear suspension linkages with water proof grease - however I am having a difficult time undoing the nuts. I will leave these overnight with some WD 40 - is it possible that I need an air wrench (ie vibrating hammer) - or heat treatment. Any advice much appreciated.

Regards.

Well I finally took the rear wheel to a local bike shop to have them remove the disc. The bolts were lock tighted. The original Suzuki disc is thinner than the new one that I am going to replace it with. This may be why it warped - got too hot with some heavy back break work.

Anyway - I have sorted this issue out now - and am in the process of water proof greasing the rear suspension linkages. Will update on further progress.

Regards
