Depending on the time of year, they can have your seat back to you in a couple of weeks. I dropped mine off in person on a friday, picked it up the next friday. (Couple of years ago)
The guys at the counter are pretty knowledgeable and will explain some styling/padding options to you...and usually drag some finished seats out as examples. This is the best route to go...in person, if possible.
I just bought a DR650, so am looking for seat options, also.

Corbin make a touring seat for the SE. It requires the use of the big IMS tank.
