DR350 accessories

Hi All.
I'm interested to know if any of you have managed to locate a decent bashplate for a 350. I'm referring to those nice ally ones that come up the side and the front.
I'd also like to hear about any ideas for improving the front brake, which is a bit puny. E.g. bigger disc/caliper.
Lastly, is there such a thing as a centre stand that will fit this bike?
How much similarity is there between the frames of this model and the DR400Z?

Cheers all,
Geoff

DR350 bash plate

The CRD bash plate is large and solid. I don't know if they're still available new though. They do some nice frame guards too.
If you want a photo let me know.

I had to construct my own centre stand, bash plate... as for the front breaks - they are not as good as the new bikes, but it still past the road worthy!

Are they made to fit specific bikes or is there a general purpose one which you then drill holes in to fit?
A photo would be good.

I got a Bash Plate for my DR350 sent over from the US recently, if you are considering adventurising a DR i recommend getting a single big order from the US of all the bits you will want.

I got mine from here: (you will drool over this page) Suzuki DR350 Parts, Performance, & Accessories - ProCycle

Its a pain but you will probably have to have to wait a few weeks for it to arrive, and remember there will be a customs charge and pricey postage cost on top of all the listed prices. I did a fair bit of research though and short of finding the bits you want second hand, buying the same US made stuff here new (if you can find it) works out the same as having it sent over.

If you get an order sent from there definitely add the extended fuel screw!

Thanks Albi.

Thanks for all the info Albi. I'll do some research and see what's best to do, but it's great to have a good source of bits.

Thanks for these. They could be very useful if I decide to get one made up.
