West africa paperwork confusion???
 

Have just met a guy on the road who says that for west africa you need to make your own form with personel details on it name, DOB, job and also vehicle details. Never heard this before but as i am entering in a few days i need to know if i need one??

you don't have to have it but it makes checkpints a lot quicker. they will often just take your form and let you go rather than taking all your details into their ledger.
take about 20 copies if you can. It makes life easier and persuades them that you know what you are doing so reduces the chance of getting messed about.
