WARNING:Oyem - Ndjole, Gabon
 

I travelled this stretch (308 km) of excellent paved highway on 9 June -06 on a Gold Wing. There are curve after curve, hundreds of them it seems but they permitted a speed onf 100 km/hr. It was an enjoyable ride indeed until I lost traction and control in a sweeping left curve that had very fine gray sand and dust on the pavement. It cost me a lot of hide on my left leg and hip and damage to the bike. I would like to WARN all bikers who travel this route of this hazard. If you spot this problem in time you should move over to the left lane where there is no sand.
