Sudan visa for AMERICANS
 

Hey there,

Been reading a lot about visa possibilities for Sudan, as we are thinking about overlanding through it on the way back to Europe. However, most stories we come across are Europeans and we just met an American couple that was stuck in Egypt for weeks only to wind up giving up and flying over the country.

So, is it possible for Americans to get a visa to Sudan at all? If so, is it a severely more painful process than for other nationalities?
