Storing a bike in Burkina Faso
Can you recommend a place to park/store the bike for some months in BF?
Is there anything I have to keep in mind when entering BF with the plan of parking the bike for some time? (I took note of the Laissez-passer I would need to run and store the bike in Mali, but I don't know the situation in BF) Cheers, Wauschi |
Talk to the owner of the pavilion vert in Ouga. He's a Frenchman who runs bike tours and rides a DR350.

I did get in touch with the Pavilion Vert and yes, they will help me to find a place to store the bike.
Thank you for the hint! I found out I will definitely need a LP (Laissez-Passer | Ambassade du Burkina à Paris) What is the maximum duration of the LP? This is what I just couldn't find on all the websites. Cheers, Wauschi |
Hello,
Had a look at the link you provided. Pretty sure it is not related to your question of driving your bike to B.F. You have to provide your B.F. passport in order to get it. You may not have one.:) Thinking it is more like a “ visa “ and related to individuals. Spécific to ? Any non ECOWAS citizen has been driving a European registered vehicle to B.F. recently ? Have a good trip. Luc |
Hello,
Here is the document for Mali. Did not drive to B.F. so can not tell you how the B.F. one looks. Enjoy your trip. Luc |
And of course the doc is on the other thread.
