shipping parts from the US to Cairo

I need to have some small but expensive BMW parts sent to me in Cairo. I will be here or nearby for around 3 weeks, which gives me a few options. I know DHL and UPS are the most reliable, but am uncertain of the customs duty percentage I would have to pay. I thought using US Priority Mail might avoid those taxes and be cheaper. Does anyone have experience receiving packages like this in Egyp? It would be a small box (6"x6"X12") What sort of duty should I expect to pay? I can have a friend reprice them if necessary.

Thanks,
Marcus

I have shipped tires to Kenya and Tanzania, with some luck and my Carnet I have “proved” that I will export the tires (when I leave) and have not paid any taxes.

So my carnet and I could possibly "proove" that my parts will be part of my exported bike and should require no duty? Sounds reasonable to me.
