Shipping motorcycles from Kenya to South Africa
 

Greetings friends, hope you are all well. We are planning a trip from South Africa to Ethiopia up the East coast and I am wondering if anyone can offer any advise as to any shipping companies in Kenya. We fly out of Nairobi so the plan is to go straight through Kenya and spend some time in Ethiopia and then do a Uturn back into Kenya and fly out of there. We had a contact for shipping from Ethiopia and I would have thought that it would have been easier from Kenya given that they are a larger economy.

Any advise and thoughts greatly appreciated.

On his circumnavigation of Africa and on other trips, SA explorer Kingsley Holgate uses Grindrod for shipping Freight and Shipping Logistics – Grindrod Limited – Home and on his last trip, used Zim Integrated Shipping Services Home Page to ship from Djibouti around Somalia to Mombasa. You'll battle to ship from Ethiopia - it is landlocked!
