Parking in Brazzaville o Libreville
 

Hi Everybody,
I am travelling with a friend of mine and his land rover discovery trough Africa. The car is parked in Tchad right now but in august we are going south so we are looking for a safe place where to store the car, in Brazzaville o Libreville, any help?

I am also planning a tour of Africa by few parts. My concern is about temporary imports in the countries I will park my bike. How did you manage it in Chad? How do you plan to do in the following countries?

I left my bike for six months in Gabon without problems. I entered with the carnet, I didn't inform anyone at the border

Hippocampe in Brazzaville (Congo Republic) is a good place to get your bearings on the state of place and bureaucracy involved on storing yout vehicle. Owner is an ex-overlander himself.

We got lots of info from him when we were there with our motorcycle. I remember seeing one stored european plated 4x4 in the backyard of the hotel itself, hence they should know a thing or two.
