Niokolo-Koba park, Senegal. possible by motorcycle?

I'm in Dakar now, with a 10 days vacation. Is it possible to see Niokolo-Koba park by motorcycle? From what I have read it seems you are required to have a guide but I will be two-up with my GF so... no room for a guide.

Is it possible to get in without the guide?

And side question, is it worth the trouble? I've seen my share of monkeys and baboons already.

Yes you do need a guide.

You will be allocated one at the gate. Then a 1-2 hour trip to the rooms in the park. Rooms are very basic and food a strange French menu ( Duck A'la Orange)

Its an ok place but i would not rush back there. You can pay for a boat to see the Hippos and use your bike to get around the park (again with a guide could be impossible)

There is a big truck to take you around the park.

You will have to pay for the guides food and room.

We saw more animals on the road than we did in the park.
