Hi Quick Question I'm having trouble finding information about Niger. Does anyone know how to get a Visa before leaving for Niamay (i'm in London) or if you can buy it at the airport. Also Anyone with experience in the country tips about what to see/bring greatly appreciated Many thanks in advance |

Just google "niger" and "tourisme". Niger has a tourist board with an internet page showing links to various operators. There are plenty Tour operators offering tours through Niger. These operators offer all there is to see. You can include most of these thing in your own program. A lot of it is in the Air mountains, the Tenere and the Bilma deserts where you can only go if very well prepared and with minimum 2 pcs 4WD cars. Another interesting place is Zinder with its huge market, Sultans Palace, old town etc. There are currently some problems in the Air region which make independent travelling difficult.
