motorcycle engine oil in Nigeria or Cameroon

hi guys, does anybody know how to get a normal motorcycle oil in Abuja or Yaounde? I've found an oil for a cars only in Abuja. So I can use it for my Africa Twin, but still scared of a wet clutch destroying. In Cameroon they have a Total more developed, than nigerians have. Maybe also caronnese totals cell a proper oil for motorcycles. Any advices?
Thanks.

Alex

Hi Alex,

Yes, check the Total stations in Cameroon. They have real motorcycle oil (both of the big Total stations I visited had it, in Douala and Yaounde). FYI in Lome I used Total Quartz 7000 (meant for cars) in my XT600 and it seems to work fine.

If you are worried about wet clutch problems, use diesel truck oil, it will work fine since it lacks the slippery additives of car oil. I have been using it since my first oil change on my DL650 and on my Victory that I'm now in Colombia on

clutch is not only my worry. gearbox has a gear wheels. it makes a lot of foam in engine. also it needs a proper lubricant to avoid a wear.

I was in 2010 in Abuja. Found a good mechanic who bought engine oil for me. See my post: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...ia-abuja-47711
