Mauritania-Senegal border insurance scam
 

Hi guys, comming from the north I was scammed at the junction leading to Diama border.
At a police stop I was directed to a guy that sold me an insurance for Senegal and other countries setting me back 120 euro. He told me it was obligatory to enter Senegal and that they did not sell it at the border. I did not have enough petrol to drive there and back in case he was right and after a long doubt I gave in, only to find out that is available at the border for 20 euro.
