Make sure you get import documents when you cross into South Africa
 

Just a note that people should ensure they get a temporary import document when they cross into South Africa.

We weren't told about it and never received one, which makes shipping out a pain in the arse (they won't let the bike out of the country until they can see it was imported legally). So just make sure you ask customs on entry even if they don't mention anything.
