Journey to the equator

Hey guys,

First - a big thanks for your help in the last year'ish...
Finally my dad and I are 40 days away from our 4 month adventure...
Our itinerary is as follows:

S.A. Mocambique> Tanzania> Kenya>Tanzania>Malawi>Zambia>Angola>Namibia>S.A

Does anyone see any problems with getting visas on the borders
as a British (me) and a South African (father) citizen (either than the obvious Angola visa).....
Just having delays in obtaining a South African passport (for me)
Can anyone give any current info on this matter...
Many thanks for your help

Hey guys,

As to the above question-has anyone been through these
borders on an S.A or British passport and obtained visas on the border?

Any info would be great
Thanks
Mike

Passports and visas

Just back from all but Angola. We needed visas at Tanzania border, which we bought there. The others we got in JHB before we left. As far as i know they were free. The Tan one cost 100 dollars!!! British subjects i am sure will have to pay at all of them. Not sure about Kenya.

Kenya

Visa for TZ shouldn't be that much. I just talked to our HR people here (I work in TZ) and they said it is USD50 for a month and can be obtained at the border. And I know for sure that a Kenyan one can be got at the border USD50 for 3 month and USD20 for 7 day transit. This is current as I got one 3 weeks ago.

Hope this helps. What are you both riding?

Cheers
Ivan
