Johannesburg SA throug Africa to Italy on my Vespa
 

Hi forum readers ,

I am currently in Swakopmund Namibia taking a few days R and R after covering just under 2 700 km over the last 10 days of which over a 1000km where off road, needless to say I am really exhausted , you really have to take it slow on the dirt with loose sand and corrugations the Vespa and myself take a lot of strain . My route is as follows , from Namibia I head to Zambia , Malawi , Tanzania , Burundi , Rwanda , Uganda , Kenya , Ethiopia , Sudan , Egypt , Israel , Jordan back to Haiffa to catch a ferry across to Italy. I have had to alter my route a little after my time here in Nambia , where I need help from other forum readers is what routes I should avoid and if anybody has gone up the Western road in Tanzania .
