"Friend" in South Africa, around Johannesburg
 

I'm flying to Johannesburg in October and am looking for an HU "friend" to help me get a bike to ride. Hopefully, I will also be attending HU South Africa.

Here's a brief on what I'm proposing.

We will find a used bike that you will purchase, register in your name, insure and let me ride. In exchange I will give you cash for a portion of the bike and pay for the insurance. Other details can be ironed out to assure you that I will return the motorbike. I have ridden others bikes and others have rode mine, without issue.

I've been a member of HU for almost ten years and am well known in the overlanding motorcycle community. If you would like references as to my character, please contact me. (Spencer Conway is a friend also)

You will probably enter the country at the Johannesburg airport (OR Tambo).
A good address might be BMW Motorrad (Zambesi Auto) for a used Beemer.
