Dumb currency question Congo / DRC / Angola
 

Hi,

We are currently in Nigeria heading south and have a really dumb question about changing currency at the Angola border - Will they change Central African CFAs or only DRC Francs to Angola Kwanza at the border (we are going to be using Songololo)?

Yeah we crossed into Angola via Songololo back in June. There were money changers there around the turnoff to the piste / road that heads towards the border. Didn't change any there myself but you should find them easily.

There may be money changers at Luvo too but we got there pretty late in the day so didn't see any.

Just a note aswell the fuel station at M'banza Congo had no fuel. We had spare and made it to N'zeto where we topped up from a bloke with jerry cans (on the left as you enter N'zeto)

The road from N'zeto to Luanda is a bit rough. Enjoy!!
