Cote D'Ivoire to Gambia. Buying local bikes
 

Last year I rode the west coast but sadly missed a few countries (Cote D'ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea and Guinea Bissau)

At Christmas time I'm hoping to fly out to Abidjan and buy a couple of cheap second hand 125cc bikes. Does anyone know how much bikes like this might cost?

Also in terms of paper work etc is it going to be difficult getting these bikes across borders with TIP? I'm hoping we can get all our visas in the UK before we leave.

I'll be back in CI in a week and check for you, but I was looking at prices about 4 months ago. From memory a 125cc Haijin type bike was around 600,000CFA, so just under a thousand euros.
