Chad - Sudan

In Abuja at the moment trying to get a visa for sudan.Not looking good,
They are still giving visas if you fly to Khartoom though,Has any body tried crossing into sudan by land with a fly in visa.
Was looking at the border just above C A R or even cuting across the top corner of C A R.
Yes we know about all the fighting,bombing rebels etc,
Any help would be great Cheers

How bad has Nigeria been? Which way did you take to Abuja?

our group of four in two lr110s is in morocco at the moment (waiting for a tranny, if youve been following that thread) and are looking for a route through to south africa. weve pretty much abandoned the chad-sudan route and are considering cameroon-gabon-congo-drc-angola. our backup plan is to ship from accra to SA. i would be interested to know what you decide to do and how it works out.
