Car work required in Senegal
 

Does anyone know of a good mechanic in Senegal. I've got a friend currently in Zebra Bar just south on St Louis with an 80s series with dodgy air con and the drivers door window jammed shut. This could make for very unpleasant travelling conditions into Mali!

They will be heading south towards Dakar, can possibly go to Banjul if need be.

Any advice on a good place to get these looked at would be much appreciated.

Will surely your chum can chat up Saer at the Zebra Bar-he does all the metal work, mechanicing etc there and is a first-rate welder/metal worker. If he can't fix the window no one can.

to find him take the bridge pont faitherbe, before hotel de la poste turn right,
quai roume, should be the secod or third garage on the left side. or ask around, people there know him. he even speaks english.
