Bike vs 2WD?
 

What do you think is better in order to travel through sub-saharan Africa coming from Europe using the Atlantic Route?
a bike or a 2WD?

A bike has the following advantages:
It is easier to get unstuck when driving on soft sand and mud; it need much less fuel...
And disadvantages: if it rains, if there are locusts, dogs, stone throwing children, more easy to steal...

A 2WD has the following advantages:
You can take more luggage, you have a cabin, you don't need to be afraid from locusts, sand storm or rain...
And the following disadvantages:
You can't get anywhere, you pay much more money in fuel, it breaks down relatively quickly when driving on a piste.

I am interested of something like Spain-Morocco/WS-Mauritania-Mali-Burkina Faso-Ghana or Mali-Guinea Conakry and back to Spain.
