just checking to see if anyone has been through Burundi lately ,

Maybe i can connect you to a german girl who lifes actually there.

She works for an NGO. Mabe this help you for querying the actual security situation.

But the same girl who thought that i`m crazy that i plan to do a transafrica :rolleyes2: She said that i dont reach the congo with my car :eek3:

To ask some Hotels and NGOs seems a good way to get a feeling - together with local newspapers/blogs.

all the stuff i can find says its not real safe in rural areas, but they say that about most places

never heard from your friend , but anyways , all good in Burundi , safe as houses , now in Rwanda ,heading for Uganda

I guess she doenst want to support such adventures, or to get guilty in any kind of responsibleness :confused1: I also dont get an answer.
