IMG Travelers Insurance Info
 

Does anyone have experience with IMG for long term travel?

They cover travel by motorcycle with no CC limit as far as I can tell. Their global insurance policy is aimed towards people living abroad or traveling long term so I can renew my policy annually which is ideal. This policy also includes evacuation but it seems like only to an appropriate hospital near the event of an injury.

When I start reading the exclusions in the fine print of the policy it feels like they won’t cover me for a LOT of things but I’m not sure if that’s standard for insurance companies.

I’m mostly just looking for feedback from anyone who has used them before and if you’d recommend them?

I did use them for a trip in Africa.

I did not do any claims so I can't comment on that.

When I purchased the insurance, Motorcycle Express, who is selling IMG insurance, was offering a better deal for the same money compared to dealing directly with IMG. Don't know if that changed.
