Where can I store a bike for 2 weeks in Ushuaia?
 

I will be arriving in Ushuaia tomorrow (Jan 29) and was lucky enough to get a deal on a cruise to Antarctica leaving Feb 3. Does anybody know a good/safe place to leave my bike while I´m gone?

Also, anyone down there looking to share a room please let me know.

Hi Steve

Camping Rio Pipo (at the rugby club on the western outskirts) will keep your bike safe for you. When I went to Antarctica a year ago I was camping there and the boss, who is very bike friendly, let me leave it there for five pesos a night. He has a very territorial dog which will ensure nobody messes with your moto whilst you are puking into the Drake Passage :eek3: or recoiling at the overpowering stench of penguin poo :funmeterno:.

Thanks Mick. Turns out that the hotel I´m at will let me keep it there.

Perhaps I should post this in the medical forum, but does Dramamine help keep you from puking over the smell of penguin poo? Inquiring minds need to know... FAST !
