Where can I buy gear and tire in Equador..?
 

Dear guys.
I´m rounding the world on BMW F650GS and now staying at Ibarra,Equador.
I have two questions.
First,I have to buy the new shield for my SHOEI RF-1000 helmet with mirrored color,which is called spectra gold or spectra blue.Where I can buy that? It has so much scratch now,so it makes my eyes cry..
Or is there someone to help me to buy that on internet for me?
As I keep moving and cannot use the credit card,I cannot buy that on Internet..So if you buy that for me,I will meet you then pay you with great thanks..Hope to be in Equador..hopt to be more south from Quito..

Second,I´d like to change the front tire to Navi one before entering to Bolivar which I was told that bunch of dirt road,especially in Uyuni desert..
It has 23,000km now,so I think that I should change to new one..
Also,I was told that it is very hard to do it in Peru,so I´d like to change that in Equador.
WHere is the best,cheap place to do it? Quito or Guayagill?
Please,let me know some good shops..

I think your best bet is to contact the Horizons Unlimited community in Quito. I've contacted several HU communities on my trip and always received help. Outside of Quito I believe your options will be very limited. Good luck, Dave.
