How much is the visa for US citizens (and bike import) for Bolivia and where do we apply for it??

And as a heads up, be sure your bills are crisp, with minimal folds and no tears. They have and will refuse to accept bills that look too used.

You shouldn't need either one of those items at a land border crossing by bike. We definitely didn't have them last year, and no other travelers have mentioned it.

We tried to get our visas ahead of time in Puno so that we could go around Lake Titicaca the more interesting way, where there is no immigration office, but failed since the consulate was out of visa stickers. Other than that, not sure what other reason there would be to get visa ahead of time.
